Many of us have experienced Wi-Fi issues staying connected in some part of campus this week. Yesterday our Wi-Fi vendor, Cisco, provided us with new firmware to address the issue of iOS devices like iPads being dropped from their Meraki wireless access points. There are several things you can do to help: make sure your iOS is up to date (currently 10.0.2); make sure your apps are up to date (check the App Store for available updates and load them), especially the Meraki Systems Manager app. Systems Manager helps your stay connected to Wi-Fi as you move from classroom to classroom and building to building.
